Margaret Carsello is an interdisciplinary artist and educator with a focus on contemporary art and digital media. She currently teaches and is the head of the department at The American International School in Chennai. Prior to working as an international teacher she taught at the Chicago Academy for the Arts High School and in the First Year Contemporary Practices program at the renowned Art Institute of Chicago in higher education. She has successfully mentored students in the IBDP Visual Arts program and for the last six years has worked as an IB Examiner. Margaret received an MFA from Vermont College in Contemporary Art Practices, a MA in Art and Critical Theory from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a Teachers Certification in Visual Art and New Media, and a BFA in Design and Visual Communication. Margaret’s work has been featured by Adobe, Communication Arts, and Step by Step Magazine.
