Runner Up - Instilling Creative Confidence
Project Brief
Children were given a postcard sized picture and a blank sheet. They were asked to closely observe the details in the picture given and try to recreate it. Children strived hard to observe the minute details in the picture given, trying to match the colours as closely as possible, experimenting and playing with the colours, helping their peers thus learning the relevance of team work. Once they were done with their pictures, those pictures were arranged in a sequence. And then the children realized that the picture they have just painted is actually a part of a bigger picture. And then they were told this bigger picture is no ordinary picture, but is a legendary artist’s artwork .So they have just recreated a legendary artist’s artwork. This gave them a sense of pride and achievement.
