Amal Krishna Paul born in West Bengal, obtained his Masters in Fine Arts in painting from the Kala Bhavan, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan in 2013. He has a Bachelors in Visual Arts in painting 2011 from College of Art & Design. During his academy period, he actively participated in many group shows and workshops.

Growing up in Bengal, nature and its trivialities fascinate and inspire him always due to his childhood days spent in the rural wilderness. Amal feels happy engaging with small kids through lines, forms and colors because he can easily communicate with young and blooming learners of any age group or background. Amal thinks lines, forms, and colors are most important in visual art and he is always inspired and motivated by them.

Currently, Amal works in Shiv Nadar School at Faridabad as an Art Teacher and continues his art practices at his Faridabad Studio.
